Sophia Grace Arias, age 5, of Acworth, died Saturday, April 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Richardson and the Rev. Leonard Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. A native of Oakland, California, Sophia had lived in Acworth for the last 3 years. She was a kindergarten student at Baker Elementary School. She is survived by her mother, Dana Jeffery of Acworth; father, Roy Arias of Acworth; brother, Javier Trenton Arias of Acworth; maternal grandparents, Dr. Patricia and Ron Skellie of Acworth and Gary and Myranda Jeffery of Trenton, NC; paternal grandparents, Roberto and Lilian Arias of Hayward, CA; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
