Mrs. Angela A. Smith (Memaw), 70, of White, Georgia- beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend- lost her battle with COVID19 on January 19, 2022. She was surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living life loving each other and enjoying every day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anita and Henry Burden, as well as many loved family members that were waiting to greet her with Jesus this last Wednesday. She is survived by her husband Billy Ray, daughter Amy Howard (Todd), grandson Tanner Thompson (Macy), granddaughter Ansley Thompson, brother Randy Burden (Alice), brother Greg Burden (Beth Anne), 2 nieces Elizabeth Ariko (Griff) and Sarah Beth Burden, 3 nephews John Burden (Kristen), David Burden (Jess), and Garrett Burden, aunt Helen Singer, aunt Barbara Ray (Jesse), aunt Madelyn Nash, along with many cousins and great cousins.

Angela grew up in Atlanta and was a Brown High School graduate. Once married she moved frequently due to Billy Ray's work, but wherever they landed, she made the new town "home" and assured Amy flourished. Orlando was her second hometown where her parents and brothers settled. She also lived there in between moves and visited often. She was most proud of her accomplishments as a mother but did work in accounts receivable for several years before opening her own in-home daycare. Her greatest love was her family, but her grandchildren, Tanner and Ansley, were by far the pride of her life. Aside from family, Angie loved her dogs, shopping, decorating, long rides, nice restaurants, the beach, and the mountains.

The family will be receiving visitors at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066 on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 12:00PM-2:00PM with the Memorial Service following at 2:00PM in the Marietta Funeral Home Chapel.
