Anna Hall
Nicholson
Aug 24, 1941 — Jan 21, 2021
Marietta
Anna Hall Nicholson, age 79, loving mother to Bryan A. Nicholson and Kimberly Lazenby-Harmon, passed away peacefully January 21, 2021, with both her children at her side. She was born August 24, 1941 in Hayesville, NC to Addie Bell and Ruel Hall, who preceded her in death, along with her loving sisters, Francis and Joann.
Anna's working career began as key-punch operator at Crawford & Company, in Atlanta, which transitioned to many wonderful years at Western Electric, which ultimately became AT&T. At AT&T, lifelong friendships were formed, with dear friends who continued to stay in touch and visit, throughout her life.
Anna's greatest joy in life was endlessly, tirelessly, and unconditionally loving others by always having time and interest to listen, helping, giving, and serving. Much of this was seen through her beloved membership at Elizabeth Baptist Church, in Marietta, GA, where Anna faithfully attended, taught, and served, since 1967.
Anna's life was a living example of her faith, which is beautifully portrayed in Ephesian 4:32 — "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."
Anna is survived by her brother, James Max Hall; sister, Thelma Rogers; her children and their spouses, Bryan and Kathy Nicholson and Brad and Kimberly Harmon; grandchildren Ashley Swan, Erin Lawson, Courtney Fidell, Sarah Eskew, Eliott Nicholson, Nicholas Lazenby, Samuel Nicholson, Victoria Drysdale, Mikhail Harmon, Canaan Nicholson, Kaylin Harmon, and Alayna Harmon.
Great grandchildren: Oliver, Everett, and Adelaide Swan, Jack, Bravery, and Ever Lawson, Anniston Kate and Elliott Grace Fidell, Bowen and Isla Eskew, Skye Nicholson, John William and Milton Nicholson.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held Monday morning between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 315 Kurtz Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
In lieu of flowers, a gift in Anna's memory to Elizabeth Baptist Church, 315 Kurtz Road, Marietta, GA 30066, would be greatly appreciated.
