Brenda Kay Newton, known by those who loved her most as "MiMi", passed peacefully on December 26, 2025.

Preceded in death by her husband, Pat Newton, brother Randy Stinson, and parents James and Leone Stinson, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda Pache (CJ), son Patrick Newton (Melissa), and the loves of her life that made her the world's greatest MiMi, Ava James, Jackson Doyle, and Emma Grace Newton.

Genuinely the kindest woman you'd ever meet, MiMi loved her grandchildren more than anything and never missed an opportunity to see them, cheering them on from the sidelines and spending Saturday mornings playing hide and seek or chomp-chomp with them. She also loved the Ole Miss Rebels and the Atlanta Braves and was an avid animal lover - Scotties, Cocker Spaniels, a grand-cat Milo, and her newest golden retriever grand-dog, Cooper.

The family finds peace that she is reunited with Pops and smiling down on them from heaven.

Arrangements are being handled through Marietta Funeral Home.
