Cathy Lathrom Brueggemann, age 94, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia. She was born in Freeport, New York to the late Charles and Lillias Boden on April 29, 1930.

Cathy is preceded in death by both of her parents, Eddie Lathrom (her husband of 58 years), and Bud Brueggemann (husband of 5 years). She is also predeceased by her step-daughter, Lola Mackelden. Cathy leaves three daughters to cherish her memory, Patty (deceased, David) Mccleskey, Teresa Lathrom, and Barbara (Wendell) Duncan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Wendell Duncan Jr (Daphne), Kenny Mccleskey, Valerie Dowdy (Jason), Michelle Mccleskey, Eric Duncan (Jessica); and great-grandchildren, Savannah Duncan, Blake Dowdy, Max Duncan, and Sadie Duncan.

The family will receive friends and visitors on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 2:00pm – 8:00pm at Marietta Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:00am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta.
