Charles Brian Abernathy, 70, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Piedmont Church. Brian grew up in Blue Ridge, GA and went on to attend the University of West Georgia.  He spent his career working for Hewlett Packard, and then 15 years for Home Depot.  He absolutely loved what he did and was described by everyone who knew him as a total computer geek.  He was member of Piedmont Church and will be greatly missed by his church family.

Brian is survived by his wife, Deborah Abernathy; daughters, Ashley Abernathy McCord (Scott), and Miranda Abernathy Scarbrough (Jacob); grandchildren, Logan Scarbrough, Bronson Scarbrough, and Deacon Scarbrough; brothers, Allan Abernathy (Gail), and James Abernathy (Sandy); Nephew, Justin Abernathy (Michelle) and their son Alec; nieces, Katrina Griggs, and Alana Locke.
