Obituary

Charles B. Pharr, 82, of Marietta, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020.  He moved to Marietta with his parents at an early age and made Marietta his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents William (Will) and Oneda Evans Pharr.

He was a partner of Pharr and Hidgeon Properties.  They erected commercial steel buildings, bought and sold property and did property management.

His health began to decline in 2018 from cancer.  He had many, many friends who were so faithful to come and spend time with him.  He had a big heart.  He cared for people with any kind of problems.  He was always doing something for someone.

Thanks to two of his caregivers, Mrs. Ruth Auzenne and Shelia Durr.  They were so wonderful for the care they provided for him.

Charles was a lover of gospel and country music.  He played guitar, piano and most musical instruments and he loved to sing. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

His hobbie was restoring antique cars.  He had many over the years.

Survivors are one sister, Frankie Pharr Fisher, a niece and husband Kathy (Wanda) and Gary Laird, great nephew and wife Jeff and Heather Laird and a great niece and husband Michelle and Dr. Chad Siniard.
