Christina Harston Dance
December 16, 1982 to May 25, 2025

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tina Harston Dance on May 25, 2025. Tina was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend—known for her empathy, compassion, understanding, and boundless love.

Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Tina grew up in Signal Mountain Tennessee. She graduated from Red Bank High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. A dedicated and respected CPA since 2014, Tina brought excellence and care to all her professional endeavors.

Tina was married to Brian Dance for 22 years. Together, they raised their four cherished children—Alyssa, Carinn, Ashton, and Grayson—in Marietta, Georgia. Her life was filled with joy, discovery, and a deep commitment to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; her children, Alyssa, Carinn, Ashton, and Grayson; her mother, Ronda Harston; and her siblings: April Taylor, Geof (Helen) Harston, Eldon (Jessica) Harston, William Harston, Walter Harston, and Andrea (Logan) Miller. She was preceded in death by her father, Craig Harston, and her sister, Angela.

Tina's spirit was brightened by the simple and beautiful joys of life—nature walks, rollercoasters, time at the water park, live music, reading, documentaries, Zumba, and snuggling with her children. She loved trying new foods, sharing laughs with friends, and learning all she could from documentaries, podcasts, and books. She enjoyed the thrill of the big swing at the Harston family cabin and loved her time spent with her close friends. Tina was diligent to keep her blog updated with all of their family adventures.

Tina fought a life-long battle with mental health. Her family is deeply grateful for the time they had with her and honor her courage and transparency. Tina was an advocate for mental health awareness, using her experience and love to support and uplift others. She truly saw people as individual souls deserving of love and kindness.

To know Tina was to be known, to be loved without reservation. Her light touched everyone around her and her legacy of empathy, compassion, resilience, and joy will live on in all who knew her.
