Christine Lottie Sheehan, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Marietta on November 19, 2022.

Lottie was born on May 24, 1935 in Penn Yan, NY.  After graduating from nursing school, she moved to Macon, Georgia where she met her late husband, John Wesley Sheehan.

Lottie devoted her life in caring for others through nursing where she worked at Surgical Associates of Marietta, to substitute teaching, volunteer work at MUST Ministries, church activities and dinners.

Lottie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always showed her love and support to her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Sheehan Jr.; daughters, Kathy (Tim) McWilliams, Karen Sheehan (Steve Bowlin); Grandchildren, Aaron (Angie) McWilliams, Katie (Michael) Cutcher; Great Grandchildren, Rylan, Sylar and Ellie McWilliams, Carson and Cora Cutcher.

The family of Lottie Sheehan would like to thank John Downer for his loving devotion to our mother.  You are greatly loved and appreciated for the support you have shown to us.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 12:00pm with the funeral service following at 12:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Marietta Funeral home in Marietta.  Interment to follow the service at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.

In Lieu of flowers it was Lottie's wish that donations be made to the Noonday Food Pantry.
