Obituary

Chris Kauffman was born Christopher Charles Kauffman on August 8 th , 1978 in Marietta, Georgia. Chris passed away at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta on Sunday, June 5 th , 2022 at the age of 43. Chris leaves behind his wife of 20 years Brandy and sons Ethan (15) and Noah (18). In addition, Chris is survived by parents Chuck and Betty June Kauffman, sister Katie (Lane and son Jake), and brother Chandler (Elise) in addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chris was a Christian who loved serving his local church and especially the youth at those churches. Chris graduated from Kennesaw State University and worked in accounting. Chris loved people, board games and all kinds of music. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life service to be held on Friday, June 10 th at 6:30pm at Piedmont Baptist Church in the main conference room in the Conference Center building. Chris was very specific before his passing that he did not want a funeral to mourn his death, but a celebration of the life he lived and the things he loved.

Please join with us as we remember his life and enjoy some of this favorite things: Jesus, music, and board games. At 6:30pm there will be a service with words of hope from the Bible, stories from family and friends, and music. After the service we will have snacks and some of Chris's favorite board games for groups to play as we remember the impact he had on our lives. During the game time, family will receive friends.
