Christopher "Jordan" Simmons died peacefully at his home on June 8, 2026. Born on January 7, 1993, in Dunedin, FL, to Thomas and Ana Victoria Simmons, Jordan was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of many.

Jordan is survived by his two brothers, Dr. Michael Simmons of Galax, VA, and David Simmons of Atlanta, GA. He is also remembered fondly by his special aunt and uncle, Paul and Nita Morrison of Acworth, GA; his favorite cousin, Katie Gunn, also of Acworth, GA; and his cherished niece, Sydney Simmons, and nephew, Park Simmons, both of Spanish Fort, AL; and his nieces Josephine and Shelby Simmons of Galax, VA.

Jordan attended Reinhardt University, where he excelled in science and was a member of the Tri Beta national biological honor society. He was a founding member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity chapter while he was there.

Jordan was proud of his career as a sous chef at Marlow's Tavern in Marietta. A man of many passions, Jordan loved music, playing guitar, martial arts, breakdancing, culinary arts, and had a particular fondness for shoes. He was a fabulous uncle, affectionately referred to as & Uncle "Jordy"; by his niece and nephew, and his kind, gentle spirit will be missed by them and all who knew him.

Jordan had a wide circle of friends, each of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. His kindness will leave a lasting impact on everyone he knew.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 1:00 PM at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA , allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate his life and share cherished memories.
