Clyde Douglas Rowan, born December 21, 1930, passed away April 1, 2020 in Marietta, Georgia. Doug was born in Chattanooga, TN to Irene and Doyle Lee Rowan. He grew up in Chattanooga, served in the Marine Corps and studied Theology at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. He later moved to Atlanta, GA , where he worked for Rich's Department Store until retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother and one daughter. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Jinny) Rowan, and two sons, Rev. David Allen Rowan (Cathy), Milton, FL, John Edward Rowan (Debbie), Chattanooga, TN, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. There will be a private graveside service, with son David Allen, officiating. Interment will be at Georgia Memorial Gardens.
