David Daniel Lovich, 71, of Roswell, GA, left us to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2020.

David was born in Elyria, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He joined Owens Corning shortly after graduation, working in a variety of technical support functions in the company's Waxahachie, TX insulation plant, Toledo, OH corporate headquarters, and Roswell, GA office as Manager of Codes, Standards, and Regulations.

David enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren - watching Alana's drama plays and musicals, attending Madelyn's dance recitals, and cheering at Mason's baseball games. His hobbies included a love of music, from church organ classics to country/western. He learned to play the organ and piano at a young age which he enjoyed through the years as a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Other interests included minor automobile repairs, watching college and professional sports, and visiting new barbeque and Mexican food restaurants.

David is survived by his wife: Dainty Wood Lovich of Roswell; his daughter, Deidre (husband Bryce) Bennett and grandchildren, Alana and Mason of Marietta, GA; his son, Darren (wife Rebekah) Lovich and granddaughter, Madelyn; his mother, Betty Spisak Lovich; and his Aunt, Martha Mary Lovich. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Michael Lovich; his sister, Donna Marie Lovich Rowold; and his uncle John William Lovich.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Marietta Funeral Home.

Due to the current restrictions on gatherings , a private service will be held on Thursday, August, 6, 2020 at Marietta Funeral Home at 10:00am. The service will also stream virtually for viewing online on the Marietta Funeral Home Facebook page
