Ms. Donna K. Harris, 70, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, June 15, 2024  in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with the Rev. Hayward Bass officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 PM in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawson County, with the Rev. Tony Holtzclaw officiating.

A native of Cobb County, Ms. Harris lived in Marietta Cobb County for most of her life. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School class of 1972, a graduate of Kennesaw Junior College class of 1974, and a graduate of the University of Georgia class of 1976. She worked at Walton High School as a teacher for over 17 years, from 1976 until 1994 when she retired due to the progression of her Multiple Sclerosis. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Martha Harris.  She is survived by her brother Philip E. (Susan T.) Harris of Marietta; niece, Karissa L. (Trenton) Harrison of Adairsville, and nephew Cameron James Harris of Smyrna; Grandnephew Greyson Robert Harrison of Adairsville; Aunts, Carolyn G. Walker of Gillsville and Betty McGregor of Sharpsburg.  She is also survived by many cousins.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday June 14, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
