Dora J. Sweigart of Marietta died July 8, 2026. A graduate of Mercer University, she was employed by BellSouth Corporation for 20 years and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers. Prior to BellSouth, she worked for Gulf Oil Corporation, Bank of America, and North American Rockwell. Survived by daughters Tami L. Parker and Michele L Pirkle, stepdaughters Mari Emilie Sweigart, Kimberly Elaine Needham, and Tracy Alderman, five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Sweigart, and her son Gregory Lee Job.
