Obituary

Eduardo Parajon Jr., born August 11, 1946 in Havana, Cuba, passed away July 31, 2021 at his home in Marietta, GA surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Linda, three children, Jennifer, David and Patricia, granddaughter Lily, sister Ofelia, brother Alberto, and countless loyal friends.

Eduardo had a passion for traveling, both for work and pleasure, and found joy even in the mundane tasks of packing and navigating airports. Having flown over 10 million miles, he saw and experienced things most people only read or dream about in their lifetime. He never met a stranger and befriended all those he encountered. Always the defending champion of Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit, thanks to his advanced degrees, love of reading (especially books by Cuban authors), and never-ending thirst for knowledge.

You could often find him watching a variety of sports and "refereeing" from his recliner, but was a devoted Mizzou Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs, and L.A. Lakers fan. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and walking his faithful companion, Fred.

A man with a big personality, endless wisdom, quick wit, and so much warmth. He was also an amazing storyteller, a talent that came easy to him because his life played out like a gripping novel that that leaves you at the edge of your seat.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
