Elsie Lee McDaniel Brown, 89, of Marietta died Saturday, January 30, 2021. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 12pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Dr. Ike Reighard officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain. The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm prior to the funeral service on Saturday.

Mrs. Brown was a native of Fulton County and moved to Cobb County in 1966. She married Lewis Preston Brown in 1953 and they had three children. She was a long-time member of Heritage Presbyterian Church in Acworth before joining Piedmont Church in Marietta and worked as a secretary for North Chemical Company for 23 years before her retirement.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband Lewis, her son Rick, and her sister Eva Mae Plunkett.  She is survived by her daughters, Angie Bolton of Marietta and Beverly Brown of Prattville, Alabama; granddaughter, McKenzie Esta and husband Brad; grandson, Kramer Bolton and Fiancé Bergen Roe and one beloved great grandson, Elijah Esta.
