Esther Clackum Davis, 94, a life-long resident of Cobb County and Marietta, passed from this life into the eternal Kingdom of her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 10, 2021.  Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Marietta Funeral Home on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM, with the Rev. Gerry M. Davis officiating.  Ms. Davis was a member of the East Cobb United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a part of the Sunday School program and serving in many capacities throughout the years.  Esther was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Traveling throughout the United States, Canada with friends and family were special times in her life including a trip to the Holy lands of Israel and Egypt.

Preceding Ms. Davis in death was her husband, Jasper Morgan Davis and Parents Ernest and Mattie Clackum.

Ms. Davis is survived by a sister, Ms. Sarah Kuykendoll of Villa Rica, GA, and a sister-in-law, Ms. Emma Lou Simpson, Woodstock.  Surviving children are Robert Larry Davis (Vicki) of Taylorsville, Kathy Davis Watts (Jim) of Vidalia, and Gerry Morgan Davis of Buford, GA.  Grandchildren include Miles Davis, Jimmy Watts (Christina), Amy Watts Hines (Phillip), Timothy Morgan Davis (Carrie) and Karen Davis Porter (Tom).  Great grandchildren include Wil, Ana and Zoe Watts, Olivia and Morgan Davis along with Lily Kilgore, Cameron Kilgore.  Several nieces, nephews and extended family complete a family of love Esther cherished.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-3 prior to the service at 3:00PM at Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA  30066.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.mariettafuneralhome.org
