Frances Malinda Petherick passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 87. Born May 11, 1938, in Dawson County, Georgia. She was one of six children born to Farlon and Thelma Padgett. She grew up on a farm in Dawson County, Georgia.

Predeceased by her parents, sister Joyce Parks, brothers Roger and Ray Padgett, grandson Tim Brumit, grandson Christopher Lawrence and her husband Les Petherick. Survived by daughter Bobbie Rhodes (Jody), and sons Gary Brumit, Jeff Brumit and Steve Brumit. Grandchildren Matthew Dobson (Cherie), Alisha Gribble (Daniel). John Brumit (Aggie), Blake Brumit (Alexa). Sister Shirley Wilson and Brother Max Padgett (Daisy). 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be at the National Cemetery in Canton Georgia on June 18th, 2025, at 10:00 am.
