Frankie Patricia Power, 88, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 14th at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain.  Patricia was born to the late I.C. Power and Lottie Lucille (Mabry) Power on January 3rd, 1932 in Marietta, Georgia.  She lived in Cobb County and went to Mountain View Elementary School and then graduated from Acworth High School. She went on to get her bachelors degree at North Georgia College in Elementary Education. At North Georgia she was President of Lewis Hall, served as a member of the rifle team, a reporter on the "Bugler" staff and was elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.  She went on later to receive her Masters at Western Carolina University. After graduating from North Georgia she began teaching in the Newnan school district and then one year in Jacksonville Florida.  She returned to Marietta and dedicated her career to the Cobb County Board of Education until she retired.    As an educator, she left a legacy of students that were touched and influenced by her dedicated service, unique style and gentle spirit.    Patricia lived all of her life in Cobb county and loved her family, all of her dogs, her family home and the enduring heritage from which she came.  She will be missed by all who knew her and were taught by her.

Patricia Power is survived by her two nephews Anthony Wayne Bunch and Randy Iran Bunch and their wives Pamela Sue Bunch and Phyllis Yvonne Bunch; their four children Matthew Blake Bunch, Tara Bunch Henderson (Martin), Ashley Bunch Henry (Richard) and Caleb Iran Bunch and their two grandchildren Charlotte Odell Henry and Maddox McCoy Henderson.
