Harold Glaspy, 69, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.  A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, September 20, at Georgia National Cemetery.

Mr. Glaspy served his country in the Navy.  He was a spectacular athlete. In addition to cycling and swimming, Mr. Glaspy was a professional boxer in the 70's.  His pro career consisted of 9 fights, of which he won 4 by knock out.  Mr. Glaspy was also a father of eight children, Harold Glaspy Jr., Carey Bernard Glaspy, Aisha Stewart, Boteng Glaspy, Keith Glaspy, Omar Glaspy, Rahim Glaspy, and Rahman Glaspy.   He was loved by his family and will be missed by all.
