Hugh Duane Reece, 69 of Woodstock died Sunday May 1, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, May 3rd at Lebanon Methodist Church, located at Sixes Road and N. Rope Mill Rd. in Holly Springs, with Rev. Don Williams officiating.  Duane was a native of Cherokee County, and devoted his career to serving others in emergency medical services.  During his career he worked with Norman Medford, Starlife Ambulance, Johnson Ambulance, Angel EMS, Tri County ambulance service, and was a charter employee for Cherokee County EMS.  Duane also served as a volunteer firefighter for Woodstock Fire Department.

Duane is survived by his cousins, Jenny Mitchell, of Woodstock, GA, and Dennis  and Faye Sullivan, of Jasper, GA.
