Iris Marie Vickers passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 95. A memorial service to honor Iris' life will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on December 17, 2023 at 3:00 pm.

She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Vickers; daughters, Renee Sofge and Rhoda Hendrix; granddaughter, Lauren Pilie; great-grandchildren, Parker Pilie, Iris Pilie, and Alexandra Pilie; and brothers, Edward Blount and Roland Blount.
Iris was a devoted wife who wholeheartedly supported her husband, Albert, as he served as a pastor for over 40 years, 28 of those years at Marietta First Assembly of God. Together, they provided guidance to their community and built lasting relationships, always leading with a faithful example of God's love.
They spent their lives planting spiritual seeds which continue to grow to this day.  After their retirement, Iris was a cherished member of Marietta Alliance Church, where her faith and love for others continued to shine.
