Obituary

Jack, Daddy, Mr. Jack, Pa Paw, Pa Paw Jack, he answered to all of these.  He was 97 years 7 months young.  He was not going to let you forget about the 7 months.  He was a simple man, a good man, a good daddy, and a good Pa Paw.

He went in the US Army Air Force in December 1945.  He was honorably discharged in November of 1946. He was in the food service business as a warehouse manager for many years. He loved to hunt and fish, however he gave it up, because he had outlived his hunting and fishing buddies.

He met the love of his life, Minnie Bell Jones, in 1944.  They went on to have two children, Dwight Jackie Newton, and Debra Ann Davis; two grandchildren, Ryan Bays and Tim Newton; two great grand children, Forest Bays and Devin Bays.  Dwight and his wife, Brenda, adopted two girls, Krystin Brookshire, and Alexis Newton.  Alexis has one child, Jackson who calls him Pa Paw Jack.

He and Minnie were married 75 years until Minnie passed away in 2022.  The are now reunited.  He will be fiercely missed by all who knew him.

We love you, Jack, Daddy, Mr. Jack, Pa Paw, Pa Paw Jack.
