Jaime Garcia, 51, of Marietta, Ga passed away on October 12, 2019. Jaime is preceded in death by his mother Paula Lopez and father Jose Ramon Garcia. Jaime will be remembered by his sister Jannett Garcia-Acevedo, his brother Jose Manuel Garcia, his partner Lilian Diaz, his unbiological daughter Leslie Fuentes, his unbiological son Alec Fuentes, his son Jaime Rigoberto Garcia, his daughter Jailene Lucia Garcia, and his canine children Max and Lila. Jaime was a biker to his core and will always be remembered for his random trips with his Victory motorcycle just so he could enjoy the world around him. If he found any body of water along the way, you could almost guarantee he would dive in immediately. Remembered by his two children, Jaime will always be remembered as the dad who would not hesitate to tease them endlessly about random things and then take them for Bruster's Ice Cream, his favorite dessert place. His partner will always remember the peace and love he brought every day with amazing big heart that always made sure that she and everyone felt happy and protected. Jaime came from very simple means and worked his way up the corporate ladder to become an IT professional. A natural social butterfly, you could place him in a group of 10 random people, and you could come back with all of them laughing about some just established inside joke. Jaime was very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage, and would always play Puerto Rican music (with some country mixed in) while also planning constant trips back to his home in Puerto Rico. The #1 Star Wars and Star Trek fan, his family is waiting for him to come down from Heaven so he can watch the next movies with them all. Jaime will be missed by all for all of the light he was able to bring into the world, and he will be remembered as the man that forged connections for lifetimes.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 3pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
