Janet Lindsey Sheffield, 84, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020.

Ms. Sheffield was born in Marietta, GA to Sanford Jackson Lindsey and Geneva Belle Kirk Lindsey.  She was a graduate of Marietta High School Class of 1954 an also, Wesleyan College in Macon, GA and obtained a BA from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Ms. Sheffield was always an upbeat, positive, supportive, encourage and loving person.  She was intelligent, fun, always ready to laugh, kind and always hospitable.  Above all else, she was a loving mother and wife.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edmond Sheffield, Jr..  She is survived by her sons, Charles Edmond "Eddie" Sheffield III, of Marietta, GA and Kenneth Russell Sheffield, of Sugar Hill, GA
