Janie Ables Frey, 94, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the Chapel of Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd. Marietta, GA, with the Rev. Tommy Foster officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00am-2:00pm prior to the service.

Janie grew up on a farm, was an antiques dealer (Wayside Antiques) and was a self-taught artist who sold to businesses and individuals.  She was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church for most of her 94 years where she was a pianist, Sunday School teacher and a Deacon's wife. Janie was loved by all for her keen wit, humor and guidance.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Frey and son Jonathan Andrew Frey.  She is survived by her daughter, Bunny Frey; her son Danny Frey; grandchildren, Kristina Love, Diana Brown and Amanda Harvey; great grandchildren, Jax Brown, Sophie Brown, Jace Torres, Mia Serafini, Dylan Serafini, Holliday Harvey and Vivian Harvey.
