Janie Francis Day Johnson formerly of Angier, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at WellStar Kennestone in Marietta, Georgia. She had been a resident of Cobb County and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Janie is survived by her sister Berti Stevens (Jerry) of Raleigh, NC; daughter Janet Woodruff (Rick) of Maryville, TN; son in law William Navarons (Keith) of Bodega Bay, CA; three grandchildren, Lisa Dianne Trent, Ginger Sharpe (Joseph) and Keith Woodruff (Jennifer); three great grandchildren, Anthony Trent, Chesney Trent, and Jackson Sharpe.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carlie Franklin and Emma Byrd Day. siblings; Carlie "Joe" Day, Robert Day, Marie Matthews and Jerry Day. children; Cynthia Marie Crow and Tony Day Johnson. grandson; Barry Andrew Pike.

Funeral and graveside services will be on Saturday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church at 1654 Bells Ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30066. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shady Grove Baptist Church in her memory.
