Jeremy Kendall Nixon, 34, of Acworth, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020.
Jeremy was born in Marietta, GA on March 8, 1986. He was a 2004 graduate from Sequoyah High School and attended North Georgia College and State University. Jeremy proudly served in the Georgia Army National Guard from 2004-2012 and was a member of the B/1-108th AR and deployed with HHC/1-108th AR, 2005-2006, serving in Southern Iraq.
He enjoyed being outdoors, it didn't matter if it was in the mountains or at the beach. As long as he was outside he was happy. Jeremy loved his family and friends fiercely. He left an impression on every person he crossed paths with whether it be from his sense of humor, his amazing hugs, or that incredible smile.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Todd and Karen Nixon, his older brother, Chris (Christy) Nixon, his little sister, Brittany (Alex) Fraser, and his grandmother, Virginia Nixon. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Chandler and Sara White, and H. Kendall Nixon, and his aunt, Cindy White.
Because of the emerging coronavirus, the family will announce visitation and funeral service dates and times as soon as possible.
