Jesus René Lomeli, age 35, born in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on November 1st, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marietta. Mass will commence at 10 am. The family will receive friends and visitors on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 4:00PM- 8:00PM at Marietta Funeral Home.

In the true cheer of holiday spirit, our world was blessed with the birth of Jesus Rene Lomeli, a birthday he shares with our beloved Abuelita Maria. Just as in the Christmas season, Rene was the living embodiment of joy and of love - a personified message of kindness, tenderness, and selflessness. The radiance of his heart touched so many people including family, friends, and his many, many cherished clients from both Cazadores Restaurants.

Rene celebrated life in ways we often take for granted. He understood that life is made up of small moments and to delight in them. Such was his pleasure to soak in the glorious nature, spar in a spirited debate, vibe out to eclectic music (Sound Tribe his very favorite), savor incredible food, and share it with even better company. He is an Ambassador of Humanity's highest aspirations - authenticity, connection, and allowing others a place to belong.

Our Sun and our Moon, we send you home with ALL of the LOVE and the LIGHT you graced us with. We each send a piece of our heart with you. Rene is survived by his mother and father, Jesus and Dolores Lomeli as well as two sisters Jessica Flores and Christina Lomeli.

En la verdadera alegría del espíritu navideño, nuestro mundo fue bendecido con el nacimiento de Jesús René Lomeli, un cumpleaños que comparte con nuestra querida Abuelita María. Al igual que en la temporada navideña, René fue la encarnación viva de la alegría y el amor: una persona con mensaje de bondad, ternura y altruismo. El resplandor de su corazón llego a tocar a muchas personas, incluso familiares, amigos y sus muchos, muchos y queridos clientes de ambos restaurantes Cazadores.

René celebró la vida de maneras que a menudo damos por sentado. Entendió que la vida se compone de pequeños momentos y de deleitarse con ellos. Fue tal el placer para él sumergirse en la gloriosa naturaleza, participar en un animado debate, vibrar con música ecléctica (Sound Tribe su favorita), saborear comida increíble y compartirla con una compañía aún mejor. Es un embajador de las aspiraciones más elevadas de la humanidad: autenticidad, conexión y permitir a los demás un lugar al que pertenecer.

A René le sobreviven su madre y su padre, Jesús y Dolores Lomeli, así como sus dos hermanas Jessica Flores y Christina Lomeli.
