Mr. Jimmy Green Lockhart, 78, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The family will receive friends at Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia from 10 AM-11AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022, with a Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Inurnment will be at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery, Acworth.

Jimmy was born on January 26, 1944 in Appalachia, Virginia to the late Robert and Edmona Lockhart. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Brasill; brothers, Bobby Lockhart, Eddie Lockhart and nephews, Jeff and Mark.

Survivors include his brother, Sam Lockhart; sister, Deanna Kirby; nieces, Sheryl Haney, Donna Brasill, Kim Cornette, Debra Rakestraw, and Cindy Lockhart; nephews, Audie Lockhart and Robert Brasill; many great nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Barbara Chambers and Terrell Holland.
