John Charles Roth, 88, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Merrill Gardens senior living facility in Woodstock, Georgia.

Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, at Pilgrimage United Church of Christ, 3755 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, Georgia. Rev. Phil Price will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, Georgia. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, October 22, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas

Born December 15, 1937, in Burlington, Texas, he was the son of the late John Charles Roth, Sr. and Elnora Marie Itschner. Mr. Roth was a lieutenant in the Air Force and served in Korea. He worked as a division underwriting manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance for more than 30 years. Mr. Roth was a member of Pilgrimage United Church of Christ in Marietta, Georgia.

He is survived by his sons, Clay Roth of Marietta, Georgia, and Chase Roth and Melanie of Woodstock, Georgia, and grandchildren Gavin Roth, Olivia Roth, Madelyn Roth, and Stella Roth.
