Jonathan "Todd" Ellerbee, 61, of Jasper, died Monday, February 7, 2022. The funeral service with Full Cobb County Fire Department Honors will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11am at First Baptist Church Woodstock, Chapel with Rev. Shannon Salyer officiating. The body will lie in state from 10am until 11am. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

An Upson County native, Todd lived most of his life in Cherokee County and was a 1978 graduate of Etowah High School. He fulfilled his life's passion with a career that included becoming a paramedic and firefighter. He worked over 27 years with Cobb County Fire Department serving on the Hazmat team before retiring as Captain in 2010.

Todd is predeceased by the love of his life, Jackie Nation.

He is survived by his parents James Tyron "Toppy" Ellerbee and Paula McDaniel Ellerbee; children, Michael Ellerbee and Kristen Delane Ellerbee; step children, Bobby Pope and Andy Nation.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8pm at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA  30066.
