Joseph "Joey" Colbert 60 of Woodstock, passed away on Saturday, November 21,2020. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, December 2 at 11:00am.  All friends are invited to watch a live stream of the service on the Marietta Funeral Home Facebook page .

Joey was born in Winter Haven Florida. Joey was married to Lisa Colbert for almost 21 years. He is survived by his wife Lisa; son, Brandon Thurmond (Whitney Thurmond), and granddaughter, Caidence;  son, Jackson Colbert; daughters, April Colbert and Caroline Colbert and three granddaughters;  his parents, Joe and Arline Colbert; sister, Barbara Colbert; brother, Steve Colbert (Wendee Colbert); sister, Theresa Colbert; and his mother and father in-law Jerry and Sheila Story. Joey loved hunting, gardening and classic cars. No matter what Joey had going on in his life, he always had time to help anyone who needed him. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. He had a soft voice and the kindest heart. He loved his family dearly. He will be missed by everyone that knew him and he will never ever be forgotten. Rest In Peace sweet Joey.
