Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Tinsley Sr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64 on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Tommy was born in Marietta, GA on July 26, 1960. Growing up in the masonry world sparked an interest in construction at a very young age, which took Tommy far as he excelled in his carpentry career, with majority of his time working as a Cobb County Building inspector. He enjoyed building anything & everything, there wasn't a thing he couldn't fix. His other hobbies included fishing, cooking, enjoying concerts and spending time with his family.

Tommy leaves behind his children, Joseph Thomas Tinsley Jr, Tifanie (Tinsley) & Jay Hornby, granddaughters Makenlie Ferguson & Kesslyn Hornby, siblings Tony Tinsley & Darlene Dunn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Barbara Tinsley & his oldest sister, Janice Tinsley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 3-5pm with a memorial service to follow at 5:00pm.
