Juanita Banta Cox, 70, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on February 15, 2022, at home with her family.

Juanita was born on May 8, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana. She grew up in Miami Springs, Florida, and lived in Marietta, Georgia for nearly 50 years. She started her career as an operator with Southern Bell and retired as an electronics technician with AT&T 35 years later. Volunteerism was ingrained in her life. She volunteered for many organizations, including those serving ill children, the homeless, and veterans. Juanita was married to her loving husband, Ben, for the past 29 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, yard sales, and teaching Sunday school at Piedmont Church. Juanita also loved spending time with her grandsons and cheering for all of their sports teams.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Ben; son, Stephen Moore of Acworth; daughter, Susan Moore and her husband, Jamie Kohm of Marietta; and grandsons, Harrison Kohm, Lars Kohm, and Axel Kohm. She is greatly loved and is greatly missed.
