Kerry Weaver Starr, 71, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on March 23, 2026.

Born in Texas and a graduate of Baylor College, Kerry was a fun and amazingly kind person who always sought to lift others up. She worked as a travel agent, then in the hotel industry, then later as a personal banker for Bank of America. Kerry was a loving and supportive mother who always strived to do the best for her family. She was heavily involved in her church group, from ushering to attending Bible studies to serving on a mission trip to China. She had a heart for others that was larger than life. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son Gregg Starr.

A funeral service will be held on March 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Marietta Funeral Home. A gathering of friends will take place immediately following the service.
