Larry Gantt, 67, of Roswell, passed away on Saturday, October, 28, 2023.  A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on, Tuesday, November 7th at Marietta Funeral Home with Dr. Adrian Coetzer officiating.  Burial will follow at Marietta Campground Cemetery.

Larry was a life long resident of Cobb County.  He graduated from Southern Tech with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Larry was an active member at Johnson Ferry Baptist where he served as a deacon.  He was also a tent holder at Marietta Campground.  When he wasn't working or serving at his church, Larry loved to ride his motorcycle, operating his ham radio, and participating in sports.  Larry was as smart as he was tender hearted.  He would do anything to help anyone that he could.

Larry is survived by his wife, Alice Gantt; children, Richard Gantt, Michael Gantt (Amanda), and Laura Hartman (Chris); grandchildren, Nick Shores, Addison Gantt, and Connor Gantt.

The family will receive friends at Marietta Funeral Home on Monday, November 6 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marietta Campmeeting , or the Johnson Ferry Baptist Mission Fund.
