Mr. Leon White, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Friday March 12, 2021. Because of gathering size restrictions, the funeral will be private and limited to family only.  Friends are invited to join the family at the graveside for the committal service at 3:15 on Friday, March 19.

Mr. White was born on February 19, 1937 in Acworth, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Ruth Wilbanks) White. He was married to Mrs. Bobbie Lynn (Ruggles) White for 62 Years. Mr. White enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1954 and served until 1959. After serving in the armed forces, he started his career at Sonoco Products, where he retired after 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Ruth Wilbanks) White, his son Terry White; granddaughter Nikki White; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Leon is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Bobbie White; his daughter Shari Gehrke (her husband Scott) ;his son Tony White (his wife June); his son Tim White; and his daughter Ingrid Chavez; his grandchildren Lee White, Brandon Sloan, Brittani Courson, Derek White, Kiera White , Shawn White, Tyfani White, Crystal White, Heather Cotto, Jacy White, Marly Little, Eddy White; Isobel Sylvan, Ameera Sylan, and Tinandre Chavez; A brother Richard Cansler and sister Shirley Cansler-Parr; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
