Lillian Nuckolls Cook, 88, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Northside Cherokee Hospital. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Friday, January 8th in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Duncan and Rev. Branden Fuller officiating. Ms. Cook was employed with Liberty Mutual Insurance for a number of years.  She also worked in childcare for over 40 years. A longtime faithful member of Mt. Arbor Baptist Church. She was known for her contagious smile and always a happy spirit. Lillian had a strong love for her family.  She loved doing things for them, especially cooking.  Sunday afternoons were spent at her house enjoying large meals she had prepared for all the family.  In addition to birthday celebrations and holiday gatherings. Lillian adored and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Ms. Cook is survived by her daughter, Laura "Donna" Cook Jackson of Ball Ground; son, Russell James "Rusty" Cook of Marietta; (2) brothers, D.P. "Doc" Nuckolls of Marietta and Donald Gwynn Nuckolls of Milton; granddaughter, Jacklyn Danielle Evans; great-grandchildren, Jenna Richman, Kayla Richman, Alexander Scott Richman, Lee Stephen "Tripp" Evans and Hollis Evans.  Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Agnes Nuckolls; husband, James "Jim" Cook and granddaughter, Amanda Mishelle Krzyzanski Richman.
