Linda Powell, 78, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  A funeral service will be held at Piedmont Church on Thursday, September 19 at 11:00am with Dr. Ike Reighard officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church prior to the service.

Linda was a long time, dedicated member of Piedmont Church.  She was completely devoted to her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, dedicated mother and beloved Nana.

Linda is survived by her Husband, Paul Powell, who she met on a blind date in 1968 and then married in 1969.  She is also survived by her daughter, Amber Powell Morning (Mathew); granddaughters, Annalise Morning and Caitlyn Morning; sisters, Shelby Anderson, and Ethelene Bennett; brother, Allen Gribble; and many nieces and nephews.
