Margaret Jane (Walters) Sullivan

Maggie Sullivan, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 2nd, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born on August 8th, 1929, in Eureka, Kansas, to Orville Joy and Esther Walters.

Maggie enjoyed owning and operating a small manufacturing business which took her all over the world. After retirement she continued to play golf, bridge and piano. In her early eighties she took up the euphonium (she played the tuba in her High School band) and joined the Cobb New Horizons and Roswell New Horizons Band. Maggie lived a remarkable life and is loved dearly by her family.

Maggie was preceded in death by her two sons, Jim and Mike Esslinger and her sister, Elizabeth Joyce Comer.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Parrish; her grandchildren Greg Esslinger (Ann Marie), Jeff Esslinger (Dana); Asa Esslinger, Ian Esslinger, and Amie Esslinger (Jared), and six great-grandchildren. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
