Marianne Stenzoski, age 81, transitioned to Heaven on July 19, 2025 from Marietta, Georgia. She was born in August 1943 in Chicago, Illinois as the fifth of 11 children to her parents, James and Maxine Mahr of Cicero.  She met the love of her life, Dennis when they were both teenagers and got married when she was 21 in October 1963 in Chicago and had three children. They moved from Chicago to the Atlanta area in 1972, then back to Kankakee, Illinois in 1977, then back to the Atlanta area in 1982, where they have resided ever since. Marianne worked as a bank teller most of her adult life, then retired in 2008 to spend time enjoying her passion for collecting things, including cookbooks and kitchen gadgets and watching cooking shows. She and Dennis also enjoyed traveling and have been on over 15 cruises to various locations around the world over the past 30 years.

Marianne was preceded in death by her siblings, James Jr, Richard, Patricia Klecka, William, Thomas and David Mahr, and is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dennis Stenzoski, children Greg (Donna) Stenzoski, Julie (Robert) Andrykowski and Vikki Stenzoski, four grandchildren, Tyler (Meghan) Andrykowski, Alexa Andrykowski, Addison Andrykowski and Robbie Andrykowski, four great-grandchildren, Jamie Juliette Lachman, Jack Steel Lachman, Canon Nix Andrykowski and soon-to-be-born "Baby Girl" Andrykowski, as well as her siblings Judy DeNova, Edward Mahr (Karel), Mark Mahr (Sharon), Roseanne Rink (Andy), all from the Chicago area.

Visitation will be available from 1:00-3:00pm on Thursday, July 24 at the Marietta Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, to which she has been a donor for over 40 years.
