Mrs Marilyn Janet Dees, 84, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on November 1, 2021. A funeral service will be held on November 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Marietta Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta, GA.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Walter (Kim) Dees, granddaughter, Jamie (Derek) Harkins; and great-grandchild, Logan Harkins and Heidi Harkins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dees; and son, John Dees.

Marilyn worked as the secretary of Bells Ferry Elementary School and was an avid Alabama Football fan. Family was everything to her.
