Marjorie Harris, age 85, of Woodstock, GA, formerly Marietta, GA, passed away April 16, 2023. She will be at Marietta Funeral Home located at 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30066. The viewing will be Sunday April 23rd from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Monday April 24th at 12:00pm, with a viewing before from 10:00am-12:00pm. The committal service will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 1pm.

A native of Corinth, MS, but has resided in the Cobb County area for over 50 years and in Cherokee County for the past 5+ years. She was a Domestic Engineer for most of her life. An amazing and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and the Best Great Grandmother you could ever ask for!! She was a member of The Piedmont Lioness Club. She was a lifetime member of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta.

Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her children: Cindy Barfield, Carlton L (Buddy) Harris, Tammy (Brian) Whitmore and Carol (John) Horney. She also has 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Loyal Harris, her parents, her siblings and multiple family members.
