Mary Salame-Cordova Rose of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 31, 2022 in Marietta, GA.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday June 20, 2022, at Little Flower Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida at 4:00 pm.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Mary moved to Lima, Peru and found her way to the United States in the late 60's.  She was preceded in death by her husband Howard L. Rose and is survived by her sisters, Sonia Papineau and Elizabeth Dicey. She is also survived by her daughters Gina Prato-Gallerini and Giulietta Prato Glade and stepchildren Stephen Rose and Wendy Rose.  She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt with a very strong will to live and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was a strong and kind-hearted woman that we all learned so much from.  Her entrepreneurial spirit, love for travel and people of all cultures inspired her to establish and operate a travel agency in Potomac, Maryland for over 20 years.  She was a devout Catholic with an unbreakable faith in God and family.  The love of learning never ended for Mary; she loved writing, music, dancing, singing and playing the guitar.
