Matthew Clay Hamilton passed away at his home in Kennesaw Ga on January 27, 2022.

Matthew was born on November 9, 1977 in Fayetteville, NC. He grew up in Owensboro, KY until moving to Georgia as a young adult.

Matthew was employed by Reliable Heating and Air.  Matthew was a huge car enthusiast and he enjoyed hot rods, classic car shows, and NHRA races. He was a dedicated fan of the National Championship winners, the GA Bulldogs. In addition to the love and admiration Matt had for his family and friends, Matt cherished his 1989 short bed Chevy pick-up truck and his supernatural ability to grow the beard of all beards.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Amanda Hamilton; son, Walker Hamilton; mother, Susan Steward; father, Terry Hamilton; grandmother, Geraldine Morris; sister, Dorie Phelps; brothers, Terry "Chip" (Lisa) Hamilton, and Colby (Trevor) Denton.

The family will receive friends at Marietta Funeral Home on Monday, January 31, from 6-8pm, and again on Tuesday, February 1, from 10am-12pm. The funeral service will be held following the Tuesday visitation.
