Neal Rucker P. Thomason, 79, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2023 in Sunset, Louisiana after a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 29th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Ms. Thomason retired from The Coca-Cola Company and went on to pursue a secretarial career in the legal profession. She is preceded by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Poteete (Martha Edith Rucker); sister, Martha J. Mabry. Survived by her children, James Wade Thomason, Jr., Edith Thomason (Buddy) Rhodes; granddaughter, Laura Katherine Rhodes; niece, Amanda (Tom) McCanna and their children, Isaac (Kaitlynn), Rob, Jack, Joe and Andrew.
