Mrs. Nell L. Baldwin, 89, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Nell Baldwin gained her wings surrounded by her loving family. Our Ms. Nell, Mom, Aunt Nell, was a compassionate, loving, gift giving, shopping , master seamstress, gourmet cooking, babysitting, adventure taking queen!
Nell was an active lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of the United States. She assisted in the planning and launching of VFW children's festivities during the holiday seasons. For many years she assisted with creating ornaments and the placing of beautiful Christmas trees on several floors of the Veterans Affairs hospital of Atlanta.

She is preceded in death by: Lois Myrtle Hallman (mother), Henry Thomas Hallman (father), Robert Thomas Hallman (brother), Lois Watson (sister), Mary Boyd (sister), Haysel Smith (sister), Hazel Doris Michael (sister), Albert Fletcher Hallman (big brother), Albert Hallman Jr. (nephew), William L Baldwin (husband), and Dana Dean and Wayne Dean (grandchildren). She leaves behind: her precious daughter Angie Dean (Dale Dean), constant sidekick Helen Free (sister), baby girl, Danita Dean (David Dunkerton) granddaughter, Loving nieces Rena Gill (Tim Gill), Suzanne Mullins (Darrell Mullins), Nancy Parker (Chuck Parker), as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 11:00am-12:00pm at Marietta Funeral Home with the funeral service at 12:00pm in the chapel at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066. Burial will be immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 N Erwin St, Cartersville, GA 30120 .
