Nelson Ramey, 58 of Lewiston, IL passed away January 2nd 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He had made Marietta, GA his home for the last 34 years. Nelson proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Nelson spent most of us adult years as a mechanic. Solving problems and helping others is what he was known for. He was large, loud yet still reserved. A man of few words but always made his presence known. He was loved by his entire family and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by sons, Patrick Ramey 31 of Marietta, GA, Dalton Ramey 30 of Dallas, GA and 5 grandchildren. As well as 3 sisters Donna Stutsman, Marsha Gazzele, Cindy McGhee all from Illinois. He was preceded in death by both parents, 4 brothers James, Ted, Jon and Joe and his sister Brenda.
